Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
By using PlugPick (plugpick.io), you agree to the following terms. Please read them before using the site.
1. What PlugPick is
PlugPick is a curated directory that helps music producers find VST plugins. We provide information about plugins and link directly to the developers or retailers who sell them. We do not sell plugins, process payments, or fulfil orders ourselves.
2. Affiliate links
Some links on PlugPick are affiliate links. If you make a purchase through one of these links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps keep the site free and maintained. Affiliate relationships do not influence which plugins are listed or how they are ordered, there are no sponsored rankings.
3. Accuracy of information
We do our best to keep plugin information, including prices, compatibility, and descriptions, accurate and up to date. However, details can change without notice. Always verify pricing and compatibility on the plugin developer's or retailer's website before purchasing. PlugPick is not responsible for any inaccuracies.
4. Third-party websites
Clicking a link on PlugPick takes you to a third-party website (such as Plugin Boutique, the developer's own site, or similar). We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content, pricing, availability, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is governed by their own terms and policies.
5. No warranties
PlugPick is provided as-is, without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be available at all times, error-free, or that any particular plugin will meet your needs. Plugin recommendations reflect our editorial judgement and are not a guarantee of quality or suitability.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlugPick and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or any plugins purchased through links on the site.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these terms affects your mandatory rights as a consumer under applicable law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this section shows when they were last revised.

Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
PlugPick is operated from the Netherlands and takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
1. What we collect
We do not collect personal information directly. To understand how visitors use the site, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”). It may collect your approximate location, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and time spent on the site. This data is aggregated and is not used by us to identify you personally. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses; IP data is used only transiently to derive coarse location and then discarded by Google.
Google processes this data on our behalf and may transfer it to servers outside the EU, including the United States, under the safeguards described in Google's Privacy Policy and its data processing terms. We rely on your consent as the legal basis for analytics; nothing loads until you accept cookies.
2. Cookies
Essential functionality works without cookies. With your permission, Google Analytics sets cookies to measure site traffic. In line with EU rules, no non-essential cookies are set until you accept them, and declining is as easy as accepting. The cookies used, only after you accept, are: _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics visitor and session identifiers, stored for up to 2 years). Your cookie choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage (plugpick:cookie-consent), not in a cookie, and stays until you change or clear it. You can change your mind at any time using the “Manage cookies” link in the footer — withdrawing consent stops analytics immediately and deletes the _ga cookies from your browser — or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. You can also install Google's opt-out browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across all sites.
3. Affiliate links and third parties
When you click an affiliate link, the destination site (such as Plugin Boutique or a plugin developer) may set their own cookies and collect data according to their privacy policies. We have no control over this and are not responsible for third-party data practices.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Analytics data may be processed by third-party providers under their own data processing agreements.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are based in the EU or EEA, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Since we collect very little personal data directly, most requests will be straightforward. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Contact us at hello@plugpick.io with any questions or requests.
6. Data retention
Event-level analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for at most 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Like virtually every website, our web server also keeps standard access logs (which include IP addresses) for security and operations; these are rotated and deleted automatically after approximately two weeks.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top of this section reflects the most recent revision.
